Georges Perec builds his autobiographical memory narration out of two texts. The first of them contains fragmentary pictures of childhood of a Jewish boy orphaned in the occupation. The second one is an imaginary, consistently built picture of an olympic city more and more horrifying the reader because of ruthlessness of rules which exist there.The text comments child’s experiences allowing better understanding of his feelings and emotions.
